Conductor AAC (All Aluminum Conductor) are used primarily for overhead transmission and primary and secondary distribution, where ampacity must be maintained and a lighter conductor strength is not a critical factor. Lines with short spans where high mechanical strength is not required. AAC is concentrically stranded with one or more layers of aluminum wire hard-drawn 1350-H19.
