Constructions Dry FusionLink™ Armored Ribbon Central Tube Cable is lightweight and easy to handle during installation.  The easily removable ribbon matrix allows for ease of stripping and fiber breakout and improves mid-span strippablity.  A flexible buffer tubet provides superior kink resistance, increased flexibility and facilitates route management in closures.  The Buffer tube and core are completely dry (no gel) and permit rapid cable preparation and termination.  Additional mechanical protection is provided by the corrugated steel armor which has a special coating that reduces time and effort to remove jacket.  The coupled design couples the ribbon stack with the cable, eliminating the need for splice point coupling coils in aerial applications.
